Kemma Filby was listed as one of the best up-and-coming screenwriters in the 2023 Next List and 2024 Forbes 30 under 30 Hollywood and Entertainment. She served as showrunner for Seasick Studios's debut TV series Parallel streaming on Amazon Prime. Alongside her writing partner, Walker Barnes, she currently developing a comedy feature with Michael Showalter's Semi-Formal Productions. Henry Winkler is set to executive produce her upcoming feature, Mr. USA. She holds a Masters Degree in Screenwriting from Azusa Pacific University. ​Kemma currently has two additional features in development and two television series.
